Happy Thanksgiving!

Yes, the greeting may be a bit late, but this cute picture makes up for it. Claire had received her pilgrim duds at school the day before and insisted on wearing them for dinner. She's her mother's daughter. I actually made all the hats as part of the work release program for classroom moms. It took me about 6 hours to trace, cut, fold, tape, staple, hole-punch and tie strings on 35 hats. Yeah. I was tempted to stamp "Made In China" on all of them. Next year.

Claire loves to eat the drumsticks when we go to KFC and insisted on getting it at dinner, but was a little shocked by the size and weight of the turkey drumstick. She said she'd let Troy have it and stuck to cut up bites of turkey breast.

Even though we still don't have much of a kitchen we managed to make do with what we had. Just like the pilgrims did long ago. We had to set up our beef stick and crackers on the dishwasher since we lacked counters. Just like the pilgrims did long ago.

We hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! We thank you for your support and friendship!
